Commissioned by LSO for its 2017 China tour, it was inspired by the works of Tang Xianzu and William Shakespeare. First performed by Gareth Davies (dizi) in Reignwood Theatre, Beijing, this performance was recorded at LSO St Luke's in the LSO Eclectica 'East Meets West' concert on 6th July 2018.
